JUMPSTART Success Story

Just like in finance, where numbers reveal the financial health of an individual or organization, in health, numbers tell a crucial story about one's well-being.

In the picture below key metrics such as weight, BMI, body fat, muscle mass and body water are followed during an 8 weeks body composition improvement journey. While most weight loss programs focus on lowering the weight and BMI, it is important to note that improvements in visceral fat, body water, and skeletal muscle, are most impactful during a health body transformation.

Healthy longevity depends on low visceral fat (the inflammatory fat); healthy skeletal muscle mass, and good cell hydration. Sharing this healthy transformation in progress to encourage you to keep going -or get started. The year may be half done, but there is still time to renew commitments to health.

Renew the Success HABITS

-for success with this Year's Health Resolutions.

Mid-year is an ideal time to reflect on the progress made since the January resolutions and to reassess goals with renewed vigor.

Revisiting resolutions allows us to adjust strategies, overcome any setbacks, set realistic, achievable goals for the remainder of the year.

If the New Year's Resolutions have not yet materialized by this time, creating habits around the goals may be a more effective strategy. Habits are ingrained behaviors that become part of daily life, leading to lasting change.

Resolutions can be broad and sometimes overwhelming, habits focus on specific, manageable actions that are easier to sustain over time. Habits require less conscious effort once established, making it more likely that healthy behaviors will be maintained consistently.

While summer days are longer and warmer, simple opportunities for increased hydration post meals; evening walks -also post meal-, adding a protein smoothie and fresh fruits to diet could be incorporated into daily routines.

The incremental nature of habit formation allows for gradual progress, which can be more encouraging and less daunting than trying to achieve large, often vague resolutions.

Let's focus on small, consistent changes that are more likely to turn into long-term success for our health and wellness journeys.
