January Is Easy. Continuity Is Rare.

January 2026

Conscious Health

Welcome the year of Continuity

From Restarting to Sustaining

Every January, people restart their health journey.
They’re sincere. They’re hopeful. They’re capable.

And yet, by March, most people stall—not because they failed, but because motivation was asked to do a job it was never meant to do.

Let's see why the january restart loop may be costing us health.

Beginnings are easy. Continuity is where transformation lives

#1: The Restart Loop

Many people repeat the same cycle every year.
They restart the program.
They dabble.
They feel a little better.
And then life pulls them off course

Every January, capable, intelligent people restart.

They clean up their nutrition.
They take the supplements.
They recommit—again.

And by March, most of that momentum quietly fades.

Not because they don’t care.
Not because they lack discipline.
But because information alone doesn’t create lasting change.

We don’t need another tool. We need a container. Structure.

Real progress happens when early motivation is held inside structurewhen there’s guidance through the weeks when life gets busy, energy dips, and motivation fades.

January is a beginning,
But what matters most is what carries us beyond it.

If you’ve ever felt like you keep “starting over” instead of truly advancing, this isn’t a failure—it’s a signal.

A signal that your health is ready for grounded, and sustainable support.

#2: Information doesn’t change lives. Structure does.

We’ve been taught that needing guidance means weakness.
In reality, guidance is how mastery is built

Athletes have coaches.
Executives have advisors.
Health is no different

If you keep restarting every year, it's not be because you’re failing.
It may be because your health is asking for a higher level of support

HOW TO FIX IT: Commit to Continuity with a health professional and for the 90 days.

When we commit to a well designed, personalized health plan with an accountability partner- the chances of success skyrocket.

#3: Am I Restarting — or Advancing?

Self-Identification Quiz

This is not a test. There are no wrong answers.
It’s simply an invitation to notice where you are.

Read each statement and answer yes or no honestly:

  1. I tend to restart my health routine every January or after a setback.
  2. I already “know what to do,” but struggle to do it consistently over time.
  3. When I start feeling better, structure tends to loosen rather than strengthen.
  4. I rely on motivation more than systems or support.
  5. I stop programs once symptoms improve, even if the gains feel fragile.
  6. I have tools (nutrition plans, supplements, workouts), but no clear progression plan.
  7. When life gets busy or stressful, my health routines are the first to slip.
  8. I often think, “I should be able to do this on my own by now.”
  9. I repeat similar efforts year after year, with similar results.
  10. I want stability and ease—not just short bursts of improvement.

How to Interpret This:

Mostly “Yes” answers → You are likely restarting rather than advancing.
Mostly “No” answers → You are likely building true continuity and mastery.

#4: Restarting is not failure.

It’s a sign that your health is asking for structure, not more effort.

Advancing means:

  • Less starting over
  • More staying power
  • Fewer swings between intensity and burnout
  • Greater confidence that your progress will last

If this reflection resonates, it may be time to shift from willpower to guided implementation.

Health is not built in January—it’s built in March, June, October

— Dr. Ashby

#5: Don't Go it Alone / Lack of Support kills most transformation journeys.

Research shows that many people who embark on a lifestyle journey alone quit within the first few weeks or months.

Trying to make lifestyle changes alone is a difficult task. Sticking to new habits after the initial excitement wears off is tough.

HOW TO FIX IT- Get a coach (for best results) OR Plug into a support system.

Guidance from an experienced professional helps to navigate obstacles, identify pitfalls along the way, and stay motivated throughout the journey.

Weekly support means MONTHS of results.

"A good coach can change a game. A great coach can change a life.”

#6: You may not need more willpower or another reset. You may need guided implementation

If you’re ready to move beyond restarting and into sustained advancement—especially beyond March—I invite you to explore working together.

Guided implementation to carry your health forward means:

In 2026, success won’t come from starting over or trying harder.
It will come from
staying—staying with the habits that work, the structure that supports you, and the guidance that keeps you steady when motivation quiets.

The work I do is not for everyone; Who this work is (and is not) for

I want to be clear about something The work I do is not for everyone — and that’s intentional. This is not for people looking for: • a new supplement to add • a quick detox • motivation without accountability This work is for people who: • understand their condition didn’t develop overnight • are willing to learn how their body actually responds to inputs • want to reduce disease burden, not just manage numbers • are ready for guidance, not guesswork Right now, I’m accepting a limited number...
